As you can see, each software option is available as a download which requires an Internet connection. (The disc version of the software is coming soon.) Please be patient as the installation process will take some time. It is worth the wait.

Baby Red Potato Salad

I tried a new recipe this evening that my daughter Suzan had told me about.  She has been using a lot of recipes from Gina Homolka from http://www.skinnytaste.com  This Baby Red Potato Salad is very tasty.  I used some fresh basil and parsley (from my herb pots) instead of the green peppers and scallions and used sweet onion instead of red onion.  The red wine vinegar makes it taste fresh and light.

Lovely Mother's Day Gift.....I love the idea of re-purposing.  This idea is from the Three Scoops of Love blog

I am busy working out some of the kinks associated with my Blog and Facebook and email.  Right now, when I post to my Creative Inspiration Blog, there is an automatic post to my Facebook Page.  In order to have access to that page you need to "like" that page.  Facebook rules call for business promotion posts to be published to a page and not to your timeline (which is for personal things).  I am also sending my regular Stampin' Up! customers (hostess club and online customers) an email when I have a new blog post.   


There are two different pages on my blog; the home page and Creative Stampin' is the second page.  The home page is for the overall business "Creative Inspiration" and then additional pages will be assigned exclusively to specific components of the business.  The only page now is for Stampin' Up! but there will be more to come.  You can subscribe to my blog through email or follow the blog through Google Reader by making clicks on those sections of the blog on the right side-bar.

Please bear with me as I work through these tedious and boring tasks.

Here is an overview with details from Stampin' Up!  concerning all the retirement and changes for the new catalog.  I hope this explains things better.  Please keep in mind that the retiring products are ONLY AVAILABLE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.  Many items are discounted!  That means items will sell out so PLEASE DON'T WAIT!

When you look at the retired accessories list, you'll note that all of our Stampin' Pads are listed. This is for two reasons: (1) Craft Stampin' Pads will now only be available in black and white; and (2) we are introducing a new Firm Foam pad in our Classic Stampin' Pads with the 2012-2013 annual catalog.

The Firm Foam pads offer better ink coverage and, in turn, better stamped images. They will be available for customer order on June 1.

In addition, please note the following changes in the new catalog, which explain some of the products appearing on the retired list:

• Only select Stampin' Write Markers will be available individually (Stampin' Write Markers in color collections will continue to be offered)
• 12" x 12" Textured Card Stock will no longer be offered.
• 12" x 12" Smooth Card Stock will only be available in select individual colors and color collections.
• Any item with an asterisk next to it is being reconfigured.  An example of this could be repackaging, as in the example above of the markers.
• Craft Ink Pads (other than black or white per above) and Craft Refills will no longer be offered.
• Classic Ink Refills (other than the retiring 2010-2012 In Colors) will still be available.
• Stampin' Spots are being discontinued.  Stampin' Up! may possibly reconfigure & sell some of the Classic Ink Spots.
• Other than the retiring 2010-2012 In Colors, the Stampin' Up! colors are NOT retiring.

IMPORTANT CORRECTION: 

Two items that were included on the Retiring Accessories List are not actually retiring. The lists have been updated s to remove these items.

When you look at this picture, you will wonder why in the world I am in the "creativity" business. lol. However, the creativity came in trying to make a healthy dish with a specific type of summer squash in mind. I am more concerned with taste than beauty, which is obvious. This is simply called "Squash Dish".  The recipe....

Squash Dish

1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
8 oz. slice pork, sausage or bacon
1 can tomatoes with chili's
1 regular bag of frozen whole kernel corn
4 sliced summer squash


Saute' onion and garlic with bacon or port.  Add chili tomatoes and frozen whole kernel corn.  Cook slowly.  Later, slice squash and lay on top - let cook until tender.  Salt and pepper to taste (or use a seasoning mix of your choice).
